Astronomers were amazed to discover that the entire surface of the green moon is covered in a forest. Although the type of tree does not appear to exist on Atruxia, the trees have a dense green foliage all year round.
The Green Moon is the fifth moon from Atruxia, and when it passes overhead, the plantlife of Atruxia seems to respond. Some farmers call it the Spring Moon, or the Crop moon as plants seem to thrive in its light. The Green Moon passes rather quickly though, only remaining in the sky for four or five days.
Those who study the magical properties of the Green Moon learn how to manipulate plants and other inanimate nature; this type of magic is common in the elven nation, but some dwarves have used it to create massive underground gardens.
